Check dimensions before buying

Largura is width, altura is height, and profundidade is depth. Ask for the measurements and compare them with your room, elevator, and doorway if those affect the delivery.

Use centímetros for centimeters and metros for meters. Repeat the unit as well as the number to avoid confusing a compact item with a much larger one.

Ask how delivery is scheduled

Entrega is delivery and prazo de entrega is delivery timeframe. Ask for the expected date and whether the store gives a time window. Delivery coverage and scheduling rules vary by retailer and address.

Confirm which address the store has on file and ask whether someone must be present to receive the item.

Confirm assembly and what the price includes

Montagem means assembly. Ask whether it is included in the price, offered separately, or handled by the buyer. If the store offers a service, confirm what items are covered and how to schedule it.

Choose one example you could actually use. Say it once from memory, then change one detail that fits your life, such as the person, place, time, or object.
